Principal, Peter R Waterson MNAEA has lived in the Hale and Altrincham area all of his life and began his career in Estate Agency in 1986 at the age of 18.

By the age of 19 Peter was given his first management role and over the next decade, he developed his skills in the industry including becoming a member of the National Association of Estate Agents.

In 1994 Peter joined a large corporate agent and successfully ran the Sale office followed by the Hale and Altrincham Offices. Under Peter's leadership, each office was transformed into a top performing Branch office. Peter ultimately became one of the most senior and respected Branch Managers in the company and was also appointed Company Auctioneer.

Never totally comfortable with the restrictions of working for an inflexible corporate group, Peter yearned for the freedom and independence of his own business in order to allow his ideals, for how an Estate Agency should be run, to materialise.

Hence the formation of Watersons Independent Estate Agents in 2001.
